Help and Guidance
Quick Start
Create your event
Add your event type, dates and estimated attendees.
Complete the scoping questionnaire
Answer a few questions so CoreRated can suggest the most relevant credits to your event.
Review and select credits
Confirm your selected credits and assign an owner to each one (the Action Planner in the Starter Pack helps).
Add evidence links and track progress
Paste share links to evidence (for example invoices, photos, supplier emails, policies) as you go. Use the Evidence Index to keep everything organised.
Submit and download your certificate
When you’re ready, submit your evidence for verification. If you meet the recognition threshold, you can download your certificate.
Common tasks
Browse the credit library
Explore all credits and what they require, grouped by Impact Area.
Add or remove selected credits
Adjust your selected credits to match what you’re planning to deliver for this event.
What counts as evidence?
Evidence is provided as share links. Use event-specific documents, photos and datasets that clearly show the requirement is met.
Mark a credit as complete
Use the credit status to track progress (for example Not started, In progress, Completed).
Export your selected credits
Download a shareable list of selected credits to brief your team and suppliers (if enabled).
Understanding recognition tiers
Recognition is based on the proportion of your selected credits that are verified as achieved.
FAQs
What are Impact Areas?
Impact Areas are the themes used to organise credits and scope what applies to your event (for example Travel & Transport or Waste).
Can I change my questionnaire answers later?
No, once submitted, questionnaire answers can’t be edited. If you need to change them, create a new event and complete the questionnaire again.
What counts as good evidence?
Evidence should be event-specific, dated, and clearly show the requirement being met (for example supplier confirmations, invoices, schedules, photos, screenshots, or monitoring outputs).
Do I need to upload files?
No. Evidence is added as share links (for example a folder, document, photo set or calculation).
How is recognition calculated?
Recognition is based on how many of your selected credits are verified as achieved, as a percentage of the credits you selected.
How long does setup take?
Most users can create an event, complete the questionnaire, and select credits in one sitting. Evidence can then be added progressively during planning and delivery.
Troubleshooting
I can’t sign in
Try resetting your password. If you still can’t access your account, use the support form.
My suggested credits don’t look right
Check your event type and questionnaire answers. If the questionnaire was submitted with the wrong answers, you’ll need to create a new event. You can always add or remove selected credits manually.
My progress doesn’t update
Progress should update as soon as you save. If it doesn’t, refresh the page and try again.
